We collect the following data when you sign up for a membership or register for an event through our Site or via Activity Messenger:

First and last name.

Payment Processing: Stripe. All credit card transactions are handled directly by Stripe. Nourish does not store or see your full credit card details.
Operations & Waivers: Activity Messenger. This platform manages our sign-ups, event bookings, and legal waivers.
Marketing & Analytics: Meta (Facebook) and TikTok. We use "Pixels" from these platforms to understand the effectiveness of our social media outreach.
Internal Access: Employees or contractors of Nourish who require the data to perform their duties (e.g., checking you into an event).

5. Security Measures

We take your security seriously.

Encryption: Our Site is protected by an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, ensuring that all data transmitted between your browser and our VPS (hosted via Web Saver) is encrypted.
Payments: We do not directly handle or manage sensitive payment data. Payments are processed through encrypted portals provided by Stripe or Activity Messenger.
E-Transfers: Any payments made via E-transfer are handled through secure bank-to-bank protocols.

6. Data Retention

In compliance with Canadian tax and accounting standards, we retain member data for a period of seven (7) years following the end of your membership or your last transaction. After this period, or when the data is no longer required for legal/accounting purposes, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Site and Club are strictly for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, it will be deleted immediately.
