Halifax Fringe Festival: Group Theatre Outing - Actual Wizard TONIGHT

A casual early fall hangout where we'll visit the Halifax Anarchist Bookfair, and then head over to our own spot indoors to talk about a graphic novel.

For this session we'll focus loosely on the same theme from the bookfair, as well as themes present in The Private Eye ( a Free / PWYC graphic novel).

We'll talk about some panels and moments, as well as share other graphic novels that we've read that have similar themes.

Updates will be sent out closer to the date with a clearer timeline, so if you can't make it to the bookfair, you can join us for the discussion.

In typical group outing fashion, we'll head out to a few shows at the Atlantic Film Festival.

Since this one falls on a weeknight, our meet before will be short, we'll grab some snacks, chat, and head in to watch the premiere of Back in Black

After the show, the director will field some questions and answers and then we'll call it a night.

Join us for a chill evening of snacks, chatting, and playing a mix of retro games like Mario Kart on N64, Mortal Combat, as well as a mix of social party and board game chosen by the group.

We've got a mix of cooperative and competitive games as well as some board games to be continued, and snacks to enjoy. 

We’ll start the evening with a quick round of intros and light conversation while we settle in, then we'll choose a few games pair up for the game stations, and play to our heart's content.

There will be breaks and a lose structure to allow everyone to play their preferred consoles at least once.

As we end the night, we'll humble-brag about our high scores and wins and then head home for the night.
