We’re an offline social club looking for casual live painters , visual artists, illustrators, crafters, and tinkerers who are comfortable working on their craft in a space where people can enjoy the process and the final product.

This is designed for hobbyists, beginner - intermediate creatives, and those interested in supporting the mixed media social concept.

It is not designed for experienced creatives seeking professional paid gig work.

It's casual, and more about your presence in the space and your craft as people chat, snack, and hangout.

As an atmospheric creative, you could work through a new piece, start a side project, or practice something you've been working on for a while.

Also you maintain ownership of your work and for anything we feature, we can discuss usage rights.

Alongside the music, and the relaxed vibe, it's the act of you creating art that is a highlight.

Schedule & Structure
- Saturdays between 6:30 pm - 8 pm (90 minutes with a break)
- Location: Rotating venues in Halifax near the commons
- Arrive, setup, create/craft while the event taking breaks as needed
- Finish section / piece around 8 pm (receive assistance with take down)
- You're welcome to stay and chat with others or go as you please

Creative Styles
- Live Watercolor, Acrylic, Ink, Sculpting, Mixed Media
- Crafters tinkerer's working on a medium - small piece
- Sticker creators, world & map builders, digital artists (ask us about how this works)
- Nail artist, hair artist, magicians, performers, or other niche creative visual hobbies

What We're Looking For:
- People who enjoy being around people while working on their craft
- People interested in recurring weekly or biweekly appearances
- Comfortable, collaborative energy (open to creative collabs for events)
- Emerging creatives, hobbyists, and professionals are all welcome

What We Offer
- Venue: We book the space, handle setup, take down, and clean up
- Marketing: We promote the event and feature your performance before and after
- Environment: Supportive listeners who appreciate the creative process
- Refreshments: Snacks & Drinks included
- Compensation: Open for discussion (i.e your base rate OR honorarium rate of $25/hr + bonus per attendee)
