As summer comes to an end, we'll journey out to the beautiful Harriet Irving Botanical Garden near Wolfville and enjoy both the sights and the fleeting floral scents of summer.

Depending on who confirms and from where, we'll either all meet up outside the Halifax Shopping Center and then drive out together or for those who live closer to Wolfville, you can meet us there.

On the drive, we'll chat, listen to music, and have an optional game of walkie-talkie trivia and battleship to keep things lively as we make our way there.

Once we arrive, we'll take a quick stretch and snack break and then we'll be taken on a short guided tour of the gardens where we'll learn a little bit of what makes each section special.

We'll likely explore a variety of woodlands, bogs, sand barrens, and a behind the scenes look at their medicinal food garden and plant research lab.

After the tour we'll have about 15 - 20 minutes of free time that you can spend revisiting certain sections alone, or with another, or hang out at the cafe and take it in.

Finally, we'll meet back at the cafe, get any last snacks for the road, and make our way back home.

Loose Timeline:
- 11 am meet at Halifax Shopping Center
- 12:15 pm Arrive at the Botanical Garden
- 1:30 pm Depart Garden for Late Lunch at Church Brewing or somewhere else nearby.
- 2:45 pm Depart for Garden / S'Heerenbosch
- 2:45 pm Early Departure back to Halifax
- 4:15 pm Departure from Delhaven Garden to Halifax
- 6:00 pm Second Arrival in Halifax

*On the ride back we can switch cars, places, and the like based on preferences.

Other Logistics:
- Nourish will e-transfer gas money to Carpool Drivers
- Bring a snack if you'd like, but there should also be snacks at the cafe.
