Beginner Friendly Craft Night: DIY Crochet Earrings, Bracelets & Hair Pieces

Co-hosted by a local Crochet Jewelry Crafter

Workshop
Saturday, July 18
2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Quinpool & Robie

With just enough sunlight keep the room warm and well lit, sit in comfy chairs while creating a small intricate crochet piece to wear for the night.

With a space reserved for our small group (of up to 12), we'll get together, have a bit of light conversation and snacks as people settle in, and then learn how to crochet a little piece to take home.

Our crochet co-host, is an artist known for her fine hook crochet earrings, sweet & calming tea blends, and unwavering kindness and patience for beginner crafters.

After we've made some starter progress on our craft, we'll touch on topics that came up during our light conversation and go a little deeper.

Multi-tasking is not something everyone can do well, especially when learning a new skill, so the conversation at this point will be very casual and light.

Around the 30 - 45 minute mark, we'll take a snack break, stretch our legs, and maybe even share our progress so far with each other.

Then we'll settle back in for a 15 - 20 minute deeper conversation circle to talk about nuances we appreciate in the arts and others.

Likewise, as with all our guided conversations, you're free to share as much or as little as you'd like.

Then after that we'll conclude the evening, while keeping the room open for continued conversation. snacking, and just hanging out until 8:30 pm.

Most people come alone, but you're welcome to add a friend  to your RSVP if you so choose.
